Hey,
I’m Kylie — a Southern California native with a deep appreciation for spaces that feel both beautiful and lived in. Growing up surrounded by creative, strong women shaped the way I see design: thoughtful, expressive, and deeply personal. I’ve always been drawn to the way interiors, flowers, texture, color, and movement can completely transform the feeling of a space and the experience someone has within it.
That perspective led me to pursue interior design at High Point University’s David R. Hayworth School of Arts and Design, where I developed both the technical foundation and creative confidence to bring ideas to life. Throughout my time there, I became especially interested in designing environments that feel intentional — spaces layered with personality, warmth, and meaning while still functioning beautifully for the people using them.
Alongside interior design, floral design has remained one of the most personal parts of my creative process. What began as a floral business in high school grew into an extension of the way I approach design as a whole: with intuition, detail, movement, and a strong understanding of composition. Working with florals taught me how to create atmosphere, tell stories through arrangement, and appreciate the smaller details that make something feel memorable.
Travel, art, fashion, and nature continuously influence the way I design. From studying abroad in Florence to exploring new cities and creative spaces, I’ve become inspired by environments that feel layered, collected, and emotionally connected to the people within them. I’m especially drawn to color, organic forms, natural materials, and the balance between timelessness and individuality — elements that continue to shape both my interiors and floral work.
Beyond creating visually compelling spaces, I value the feeling design leaves behind. Whether through an interior, an installation, or a floral arrangement, I’m interested in creating work that feels immersive, welcoming, and intentional from every angle. I believe the most meaningful spaces are the ones that tell a story — spaces that reflect personality, evoke emotion, and leave a lasting impression without sacrificing function or comfort.
This website serves as both a portfolio and a reflection of my creative perspective — showcasing selected interior design work, floral projects, and personal explorations developed throughout the past few years. My work is rooted in layering, emotion, and intentionality, blending artistic expression with technical precision to create spaces and experiences that feel elevated, inviting, and distinctly personal.
Artfully yours & always in bloom,
Kylie Figueroa
